The board is excellent. I love it, though I do have a few minor gripes: From the start, it is not particularly punchy. When you power down the remote, the board emits a pulsating blue glow that I cannot turn off until I shut down the board itself. I wish it had a little more bounce. The cloud wheels are fantastic, and overall, if you are looking for a hub motor, this is the finest board available at this price point in my opinion.
I recently bought an ADV hub. I had a similar board from a different company before (also with cloud wheels), and what interested me most was the extended range of the battery. When I started trying it out, I immediately noticed how much easier it is to turn. This makes riding much more fun and the longer range of the battery is a big plus as well. The board is not as dynamic climbing steep hills though, and the remote control is somewhat basic. The smart phone app does not work. But overall, I am quite excited about the board and did not regret the purchase.
This skateboard has an awesome battery! It's been 3 weeks or so and I still haven't had to charge it. The throttle is a little sudden, which can be a little disconcerting at times, but I am hoping to refine my touch. Brakes are amazing, esp since I can dial in the level of braking. The lights are a nice touch, esp since I can turn them off. The brake lights are also a great idea, although I'm not sure cars are looking. I'm very happy the brake lights are there. The Cloud wheels are the best wheels I've ever had on an electric board - this board goes everywhere w/ no vibration. Easily the best elec skate I've had, but my original X-1 Pro is still my fave b/c of the lightweight and killer functionality. Nothing beats having these Cloud wheels - they really make riding this board enjoyable. This board goes over Light Rail tracks like butter, and really I never have to get off. The speed is great, but, TBH I haven't hit top speed yet. So far I haven't needed it, and the battery life is so good I may not lol.
The board is awesome, but the tape is coming up. I don't know what to do about it. Is it under warranty? very poor tape job there is air underneath the back taped area. front is easily coming up.
No issues, only wish you guys were closer.
My son loves it! Super comfortable and smooth ride! The integrated lights and brake lights are a nice touch! Worth the purchase!
